The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals have both earned a trip to the Super Bowl.
The Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens 23-14, and the Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 32-25.

The wreckage of the US Airways jetliner that splash-landed in the Hudson River has been moved by barge to New Jersey while investigators will take a close look at the damage. Meanwhile, the hometown mayor of Chesley Sullenberger, the pilot, says he and his family will attend Barack Obama's inauguration.

As the Inaugural festivities get under way, Barack Obama told a huge crowd at the Lincoln Memorial Sunday that anything is possible in America. The President-elect made the remark during a pre-inaugural concert that featured music super stars like Bruce Springsteen, Beyonce and many others.

The Israeli military is returning to Israel as a ceasefire begins after a 3-week offensive against Hamas in Gaza. Meanwhile, Hamas says it will extend its plan to week-long truce as long as Israel pulls out completely.
