    Well, as we know, on the show, Britain’s Royal family is used to be under the microscope with the journalists and the public, following every move, every wardrobe change and every hairdo, but the second line to the throne is actually facing real criticism about his hair. Prince Harry, one of many redheads who say they are the victims of the bullies and bad jokes in the UK. And for many redheads, it’s not just playground bullying, it’s a serious form of prejudice called ginger discrimination. Here is ABC’s Nick Wart from London

    There are more redheads in the British isles than anywhere else on earth. It’s genetic and apparently familiarity breeds contempt. "
    “It’s horrible. I love redheads, but people are quite anti them. ”
    " Here, the flame-haired are called ginger, ginge or giner. ”

    " People yell at you in the street?”
    " Oh, yeah. ”
    " What do they say?”
    " In fact, it just happened this morning. ”

    The nation that gave the world Ginger Spice, the Duchess of York and Lily Cole is ginger-phobic. No joke.

    Take the Chapman family, all redheads were driven from their home by abuse.
    “Do you see yourself as part of a minority?”
    “Definitely, no question.”

    Even Prince Harry says he was bullied at school because of his hair. Apparently, his army buddies call him the ginger bullet magnet and his girlfriend calls him the big ginger.

    “Somebody with ginger hair will stand out from the crowd.”
    “The nail that sticks out gets hammered down.”

    Waitress Sarah Primmer just sued her boss for sexist and gingerist abuse. She won 35,000 dollars' compensation.
    “When you grow older, you don't expect people to say things about the color. It's not nice.”

    TV comedian Catherine Tate highlights such absurdity with a fictional refuge for abused gingers.
    “We have all sorts of gingers here, gingers in denial, confused gingers even militant gingers.”

    “Redheads walk along the street and we nod or wink or smile at each other.”
    "No, you don’t?”
    “Yes, we do.”

    Charlotte photographed these proud redheads for an as-yet unpublished book called “Ginger Nuts: A Celebration of Carrot Tops”.
    “It's a glorious color. It's amazing. Nature produced this color.”

    Maybe what they say about redheads being feisty is true, the gingers are fighting back. For good morning America/, Nick Wart, ABC news London.

    “I don’t know what to say, my son has red hair.”
    “Sorry.”
    “Thank goodness he lives in this country. People love his hair, it’s horrible there in Britain.”
