Now that Harry Potter like you have never seen him before. The seventeen-year old actor Daniel Radcliffe is baring it all. It’s a brand-new(a.全新) play, a role that's helping him shed his innocent boy wizard(n.巫师) image. But for the legions of Harry Potter fans(HP的粉丝团), many of them young, and also their parents all around the globe, it's setting off a firestorm. Here’s ABC’s Nick Watt, he has the story.
The wizard with the bowl cut was a safe crush for the tweens, asexual, unthreatening.
(Up, up, up…Wow!)
Look at him now; he is taking his clothes off for the stage play “Equus”.
“He is an actor; he can do whatever he wants. He is not a role model, and he is not Harry Potter.”
Young Potter fans will pester(v.缠着) parents to see their hero in the flesh(亲眼看到真人), but should kids see Harry Potter undressed? I mean, it’s like seeing Santa Claus in his undershirt.”
“It’s amazing to be able to get that reaction with a wave.”
There have been lustful postings on the seventeen-year-old actor’s website sparked by his impending nudity.
“The Harry Potter series is not gonna last forever. The last book is coming out this summer. And so he needs to prepare for himself to be seen as an actor and not just as this one character.”
“How are you doing?”
He’s appeared on HBO’s Extras playing a lascivious version of himself.
"You smoke, do you? "
“Me? Oh yeah, Just a little bit ..... here.”
He is definitely trying to branch out and the thing that people should admire him for is that he’s doing it professionally. You know it’s not like he suddenly going out and getting drunk and making all these pictures in the paparazzi.
But what would Hermione think?
“I’m scatty for you.”
