歌手介绍：

Nelly Furtado 的成名就像是一场美梦：祖籍葡萄牙，出生成长于加拿大，父母都来自勤奋的劳工阶级，母亲的工作是女佣。小时候，Nelly曾一连8个暑假到旅馆当女服务员。虽然在学校里她是个不安份的坏女孩，但其展露出的音乐才华的确令人不可小视，吉他、长号以及尤克里里（一种来自葡萄牙的小吉他）样样精通。

如果说Nelly Furtado上张专辑《Folklore》没有诞生一首能够让人记住的单曲的话，那么这张《Loose》在美国正式发行之前，Nelly与说唱歌手 Timbaland合唱的《Promiscuous》以及另一支单曲《Maneater》就已经分别在Billboard Hot 100单曲榜和英国单曲榜中名列前茅。提到这张《Loose》，就不能不说Timbaland。除了与Nelly合唱冠军单曲《Promiscuous》之外，Timbaland还一人包揽了吉他，打击乐器，鼓，键盘等乐器的录制。除此之外，Timbaland还亲自出任本张专辑的制作人和执行制作人，可谓居功至尾。

在Timbaland的打造之下，《Loose》顺理成章的融入了更多的Hip-Hop和R&B等黑人音乐元素。与Attitude 合唱的《Afraid》，《Maneater》，主打单曲《Promiscuous》以及《No Hay Igual》都是节奏十分出色的单曲，而这种类型的歌曲也是在Nelly以前专辑中并不多见的。听完专辑的前半部分，我们会发现如今的Nelly Furtado跟当初素面朝天演唱《I'm Like A Bird》那个Nelly Furtado真的是不一样了。在本张专辑的后半部分，Nelly Furtado与拉丁情歌王子Juanes合唱的《Te Busque》，本张专辑中不太多见的抒情佳作《In God's Hands》以及民族风味十足的《Wait For You》都是旋律不错的歌曲。
